Production: Daddy Issues

Venue: Seven Dials Playhouse

Director: Jane Moriarty

Dates: Performances from October 2022

Daddy Issues, a thrilling one woman play, written by Soho Writer and OFFIE award winner Lewis Cornay.

This startling dark comedy centres around 23 year old Imi on the verge. Isolated, she finds herself slipping further and further from reality, trapped inside her mind as she tries to explain the complexities of grief, Cliff Richard and dead dogs. As she spirals, she has to fight to remember all the reasons why she must choose to live, whilst interrogating the lengths we'll go to, to forget the things that haunt us.

Production: A Midsummer Night's Dream

Venue: Shakespeare North Playhouse & Northern Stage

Director: Matthew Dunster

Sound Design: Ian Dickinson

Dates: Performances from September 2022

It’s all kicking off in the woods! Two warring fairies are willing to destroy the world after a barney over a little lad, and four chaotic kids are off on a drug induced love mission – welcome to the party!

Join Not Too Tame for a riotous ride through the forest at night, for a tale of wild weddings, mistaken identity and a staging of Shakespeare’s best known comedy where not everything is as rosy as it seems. When dreams merge with reality it’s not always clear who’s who and what’s what – so keep your wits about you!

With more merriment than you can shake your ruff at, a big dose of bewilderment and a dash of disaster, this is a Midsummer Night’s Dream not to be watched, but experienced. Pick up your petticoat and fasten your corsets, there’s a donkey on the loose.

Created by Not Too Tame and Matthew Dunster.

Production: The Jungle

Venue: St Ann's Warehouse NYC & Shakespeare Theatre Washington DC

Director: Stephen Daldry & Justin Martin

Sound Design: Paul Arditti

Dates: Performances from February 2023

Following the postponement of the 2020 US tour, The Jungle will now return to America in spring 2023 in partnership with St Ann’s Warehouse. We’re delighted to be  returning to St Ann’s Warehouse from 18 February.  Before heading to the nation’s capital city, Washington DC, to play at the Shakespeare Theatre Company in co-production with Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company.

The Jungle is an intense remembrance of the now bulldozed camp in Calais, France. There, thousands of refugees who had escaped drought, war, and strife-torn countries in Africa and the Middle East waited for their "good chance" passage to Britain. The Jungle invites audiences into a faithfully replicated Afghan restaurant, where endless cycles of survival and threat, failed social contracts, creative thought and action, compassion, and empathy unfold.
